The Role
As a Chef you will daily provide healthy, nutritious and delicious meals for children from 0-6 years of age.
Rostered hours will be approximately 7:00am- 3:00pm Monday- Friday.
Previous experience as a Chef in an Early Learning centre will be highly desirable.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Preparing food that adheres to allergy and medical and/or intolerance requirements.
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in line with Food Safety Program.
• Implementing a high level of food safety standards at all times, while having a strong sense of children's nutritional and dietary requirements
• Food preparation for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late afternoon snack
• Dishwashing and maintaining general cleanliness of the kitchen.

• Current Working with Children Check (or able to obtain)
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
