All Saints Catholic Primary School is a Catholic Reception – Year 6 Primary School with 541 students and is part of Catholic Education South Australia, in the Archdiocese of Adelaide.

All Saints Catholic Primary School promotes the values and teachings of Jesus Christ, within the context of a spirit centred community of learners.  We provide a welcoming environment with a focus on positive relationships, which are at the heart of good teaching and learning. This supports a strong partnership between staff and families in working towards successful learning outcomes for all children.

All Saints Catholic Primary School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Early Years Teacher. The position will be a fixed term contract, working 1.0 FTE per week. The contract will commence 22 July 2024 and conclude on 13 December 2024.

Role Details

  • An understanding of and commitment to the Church’s mission in Catholic Education & capacity to contribute to the spiritual & community life of All Saints Catholic Primary School and parish.
  • A sound knowledge of evidence-based learning theories that promote learning for a diverse range of children, particularly in the area of literacy and numeracy.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create supportive and safe environments including skills in managing challenging student behaviours. Berry Street training would be an advantage.
  • Highly effective communication & interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues, students & parents developing positive and inclusive relationships.
  • Detailed planning & implementation of effective teaching & learning programs that include the integration of ICT.
  • An excellent understanding of a variety of assessment & reporting strategies and the need to provide effective and timely feedback to parents & students.
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other staff contributing as a proactive and engaged member of a professional learning community.
