Earthquake Hazard Scientist

This role will have accountability to develop methods to undertake seismic site characterisation of seismic receiver sites and within urban basins. In addition, the role will support PNG’s Port Moresby Geophysical Observatory to monitor and analyse earthquakes, and with selected PNG province Disaster Management Offices (DMOs), to monitor earthquake impacts in their communities. The role will deliver high-quality advice and support earthquake-hazards research for Australia and the region.

You will need to be able to foster relationships with key stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals.
