Animal Emergency Services (AES) is part of the Animal Emergency Australia network, with clinics all around Australia. AES is equipped to provide the Gold Standard of emergency, critical and specialist care for all pets. Our highly qualified and experienced veterinarians and nurses are dedicated to delivering professional and compassionate care.

As a member of our veterinary team, you would be provided both on the job and external training to help you provide excellent Emergency and Critical Care to your patients. You would be supported by an amazing team of vet nurses, trained client care representatives and a managerial team dedicated to helping you achieve your career goals.
Our team is dedicated to career progression and continuing education. All members of our vet team are offered enrolment into the Accelerated Learning Program through Improve International – designed to teach you the fundamentals of Emergency and Critical Care. We have two EMCC specialists within our organization, four Residents and an extensive network of experienced clinicians who enjoy training and supporting all team members. We also regularly host vet students from multiple Universities around Australia, so you also be contributing to the next generation of vets.

About you
A veterinary degree recognised within Australia
Capability to conduct simple to moderately complex clinical consultations and surgical procedures
Resilience and a strong collaborative drive
Ability to operate as a team player, generate enthusiasm in the team and build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal skills: ability to be client-focused, with a positive attitude; able to negotiate effectively and communicate openly and honestly on all levels
A keen eye for detail

Annual Salary of between $110,000 and $160,000 + 10% super (based on experience)
