Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ecologist or Environmental Scientist with more than 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting ecological surveys, preparing reports, and providing expert advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ecological surveys and assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare Flora and Fauna Reports, Vegetation Management Plans, and other environmental documents.
- Provide expert advice on bushfire hazards, development constraints, and environmental planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- More than 5 years of experience working as an Ecologist or Environmental Scientist.
- Demonstrated expertise in ecological survey methodologies and report writing.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
