Renmark Paringa Council are currently seeking an Economic Development Officer to join our team on a short term contract.  

The Economic Development Officer supports the Chief Executive Officer to execute an effective Economic Development strategy and activities that underpin the Council’s vision of achieving a strong and sustainable economy.

The successful candidate must have a demonstrated understanding of the threats and opportunities for the Riverland region, project management and planning abilities, the ability to promote Economic Development projects and initiatives and excellent communication skills both written and oral.  Managing projects and preparing reports along with previous work within Economic Development roles is desirable.

The position is classified at Level 5-6 of the
SA Municipal Salaried Officers.
