BPA Children's Services (BPA) is a not-for-profit organisation that manages Kindergartens and Long Day Care Centres in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Being one of the largest providers of Early Childhood education and care services in Victoria, we deliver quality programs that meet the needs of each child and the wider community.
We are on the look out for an Early Childhood Teacher and Nominated Supervisor to fill a vacancy at St Brendan's Kindergarten located in Flemington.
Position Details
- 3YO Teacher and Nominated Supervisor
Part Time (Bumblebee Group)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday (25.25 total hours per week)
Please Note: the total hours listed include non-contact time and may be required to be completed on a separate day.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Educators, working together to build an exceptional practice and help young children to thrive.
- Guide the development and implementation of a high-quality educational program, based on the practices and principles of the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with the National Law, the National Regulations and the National Quality Standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA).
- Valid Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration and a Police Check are mandatory.
- Sound knowledge and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards.
- The right to work in Australia.
- Experience working with children with a wide range of diverse additional needs.
