ECTs, Diploma and Certificate III Educators: 3 - 5 Years Room

We currently have two beautiful, smaller services located in Blackbutt and Flinders, and we have recently opened our third service in Shell Heights, within the Dunmore Estate since July 2023! Our new state of the art, 123 place childcare service is a purposefully designed, innovative service, standing out from the rest.  

Our new service consists of a 4-room centre, each with their own specially designed outdoor spaces with an additional 3 extra-curricular rooms to further extend upon children’s learning; the art room, children's library and kitchen/ science lab.

The Centre:
Junior Einsteins Nurturing Centre – Shell Heights is our newest service, focusing on creating an inclusive environment. This new state of the art centre is opened 52 weeks a year, catering for 123 children per day, aged 6 weeks – 6 years of age, from 6:30am – 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, closed on public holidays. 

We believe the educators within a service are the foundations and fundamental components of a centre. We are searching for two highly qualified, motivated and nurturing educators to join our Mariyang Room. The Mariyang Room caters for children from the ages of 3 to 5 Years, with a specifically designed indoor and outdoor environment. The features of the Mariyang Room includes their own outdoor space, filled with natural elements and resources to spark children's creativity and learning, as well as an interactive Smartboard within the indoor area to support the development of vital school readiness skills as a part of our Junior Kindy program. We are searching for two dynamic and enthusiastic educators with the following qualifications: 

Certificate III Qualified - Part Time & Full Time
Diploma Qualified - Part Time & Full Time
Early Childhood Teacher Qualified - Part Time & Full Time

These two permanent positions will be required to work as a collaborative part of a team of highly qualified educators, within the Mariyang Room, as well as the whole service. The successful candidates will be required to uphold strong communication and people skills to engage with families, as well as inspiring and motivating our other educators to create a powerful foundation for future successes in children’s learning within our service. The appointed persons will be required to work within a collaborative work environment and continue to build and foster the relationship existing between the centre, our families and community overall. As a passionate educator/teacher who has a great understanding of the National Regulations and Law, NQF, EYLF and other relevant Early Childhood literature, the successful candidate will be committed to achieve positive outcomes for all children.

Essential Requirements:

• A Certificate III in Children’s Services, Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Education, or working towards a Diploma or ECT qualification (or ACECQA approved equivalent) 
• NSW Working with Children's Check
• Relevant Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate along with Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate, or willing to complete.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• Excellent computer literacy skills 
• An excellent understanding of the NQF, EYLF, National Regulations & Law, WH&S

Desirable Requirements:

• An understanding of the programming and planning cycle for children’s learning.
• Experience working in a centre with your qualification.
