Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Edgebander Operator to operate and maintain edgebanding machines (Holzher) used in the production of high-quality joinery products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, mechanical skills, problem solving ability and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Holzher edgebander and other machinery to manufacture joinery products.
- Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper application and alignment.
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine/basic maintenance and troubleshooting on edgebander machines.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating edgebander machines is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
