Education Assistant (Cert 111 And Diploma Qualified)

We are seeking.

KidsCare Pre-Kindy and OOSH is seeking to appoint a caring EDUCATION ASSISTANT, who has a passion for working with children to facilitate our after-school program as well as our Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten program. This is a permanent on-going part time position commencing ASAP.

 About Us

KidsCare Pre-Kindy and OOSH is a privately owned Centre located on the Inglewood/Maylands border. We operate Before and After School Care and have recently introduced our Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten program. We are passionate about creating a safe and happy environment for children, providing them with the quality, care and education by committed and dedicated Educators who are encouraged to grow and succeed with constant support by working together as a dedicated team.

Qualifications

You will work under the guidance of an Experienced Management Team and assist in providing a program tailored to the needs of children from 3-5 years of age and assist with the Before School Care Program. You will require:

-          Cert 111 or working towards, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Bachelor in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification recognised by ACEQA

-          Current Working with Children Check

-          Current First Aid

-          Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-          Passionate about educating children

Key Responsibilities:

-          To work as a team and assist Educators and the Co-Ordinator to plan an engaging child-initiated program for our Children and Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten Children

-        To work collaboratively with colleagues through effective communication and to be organised.
