Helena College is a non-religious, independent, co-educational school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in the Perth Hills - just 25kms from Perth City.

Role Description
Status: Permanent Part-time - 3 days per week for 39 Term Weeks (Monday to Wednesday)
Effective date: 15 July 2024 | Term 3 (or sooner if circumstances allow)
The primary function of this role involves coordinating and carrying out a range of responsibilities that assist classroom teachers and Learning Support in meeting the needs of each and every student. This typically encompasses working in collaboration with the Head of Learning Support, classroom teachers, other Education Assistants, students and parents.
Essential Criteria
- Certificate III (Minimum) School Based Education Support
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Must hold (or be in the process of obtaining):
- A current Working with Children Check
- A current Police Certificate
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work effectively with and be able to collaborate with colleagues
- Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational ability
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) the Apple operating platform
- Willingness and ability to apply the College’s Vision, Mission and Values
