THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $78,564 to $111,391 p.a. pro rata x 0.5 EFT + $114,788 x 0.5 EFT (range dependent upon qualifications and experience) + 11% superannuation and annual leave loading.
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Moorabbin and Chadstone campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Appointment to 26 February 2025.
The Faculty of Education and Foundation Studies is currently seeking a motivated individual to fulfil the roles of Education Manager - Social Inclusion and Teacher - Work Education/Victorian Pathways Certificate concurrently.
The most suitable candidate will participate in all facets of the learning and management process from course enquiry and advice to assessing and determining the educational and training requirements of students.
ABOUT YOU
  • Industry knowledge directly relevant to the disability and education sectors including knowledge of contemporary best practice inclusive pedagogies.
  • Expertise relevant to the training and assessment being delivered, with a particular emphasis on current technology and industry practice.
  • Experience working with secondary school aged students with intellectual disabilities.
  • Significant teaching knowledge, including experience as a TAFE teacher in one or more program areas of the department post teacher training.
  • Sound educational background with high level interpersonal, organisational, management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Using analytical, ICT and organisational skills, adapt delivery and assessment to meet student needs.
  • Degree level qualification in education, disability, social work or psychology or another relevant equivalent tertiary qualification.
