· Educator of the week - prizes and moreAbout the role:Join our team as a Teacher's Assistant to work at a Special Development School in and around Tottenham. We will match your skills, preferences, and availability to the schools we work with to ensure you enjoy the shifts we offer you.Key duties:
· Assist teachers in providing a safe and stimulating learning environment
· Ensure a continuation of learning for students in the absence of their usual Education Support.
· Develop a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater for individual learning needs.Skills & Experience:
· Completed a minimum of Certificate IV in Education Support, including completion of required placements.
· Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (must be mentor teachers, supervising teachers, daily organisers or principals).
· Ability to work with students with a range of support needs.
· You MUST be willing to work within Special Development Schools.
· You MUST be willing to support students with meals and toileting needs.
· Ideally based in Tottenham or nearby suburbsDesired Skills & Experience:
· Adaptable to changing work environments.
