About us
Cessnock Kids Preschool and Early Learning Centre is a beautiful, custom-fitted Early Childhood Education and Care Service catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, right in the heart of Cessnock. We are proudly independently owned and family run, with a strong commitment to collaborative leadership and management. With over 40 years experience in Early Childhood Education and Care our Management Team holds a wealth of knowledge in designing the ultimate environments and leading programs for children’s learning, leisure and fun. We are passionate about providing excellence in early childhood care and education in a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment in which children are fostered to become happy individuals that can positively contribute to their community and the greater society.
Positions Available:
Educational Leader /ECT/Diploma - Full Time or Part Time
- Lead our curriculum design and implementation, ensuring engaging and effective indoor and outdoor educational experiences for our children.
- Support and mentor our team of educators in best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
- Know and implement the Early Years Learning Framework in the program and records.
- Collaborate with families and the community to enhance the educational environment for all children.
- Maintain the developmental records of each child with Educators.
- Assist in organising any resource materials, interest areas and general preparation for the rooms.
Trainee Educator - Full Time: We are offering an 18 month traineeship in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Genuine interest in working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of early childhood education and care
- Assist in the implementation of a high-quality educational program for children
- Support the daily routines and activities within the Centre
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
