A part-time opportunity has arisen to join us in our leafy Northern Beaches (Belrose, Sydney) location for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to manage the full function AR activities for Perrigo Australia Pty Ltd.  This is a great opportunity for a confident, highly motivated individual looking for flexibility.
Perrigo is a leading global provider of quality, affordable self-care products and in Australia owns and distributes a number of successful brands including Nicotinell(R), Herron(R) Analgesics, Tiger Balm and Lucas PaPaw.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in AR, ideally in either Pharmaceutical or FMCG, strong excel skills, with SAP experience being an advantage.
Due to an element of daily activities, we require someone 4 to 5 days per week, for a 28 to 30 hour work week. Working hours are flexible with hybrid working.
Scope of the Role
-Managing debtor accounts, ensuring both the timely collection of outstanding amounts and the maintenance of outstanding debts at acceptable levels
-Proactive and reactive communications with customers, developing relationships with them, together with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate cash collections
-Ensuring correct cash application, timely and accurate billing / invoicing
-Managing disputes and rebates ensuring regular follow up or escalation as appropriate
-Producing accurate and timely reports to monitor accounts and reduce aged debts
-Reviewing and reporting on results against set and agreed KPIs with your Manager on a regular basis, discussing and recording clearly targets to actual performance
-Assisting Senior Financial Accountant with input to the weekly cash forecast process.
Experience Required

-At least 2-4 years' experience in a similar role (accounts based) in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment
-Accountancy Diploma or Degree highly desirable
-Advanced Excel Skills and SAP experience
-Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Sound decision making skills and demonstrated ability work independently as well as on a team.
-Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment is critical to the position’s success.
