Educator - Brighton

About the Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) at St Kieran's Outside School Hours Care based in Brighton. 

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting primary school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment.

Our Centre
Our Outside School Hours Care provides care for children in the Brighton-Sandgate parish communities and is in the grounds of St Kieran’s Primary School. Our centre offers before and after school care, vacation care and care on pupil free days.

At St Kieran's Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care and after school care for up to 90 children.

Hours: Casual (varied)
Remuneration: $24.13 to 30.07 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, based on the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.  

Job Requirements:

• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Effective workplace communication skills
