Salary- Up to $36.53/hr (depending on experience) + Super + Salary Packaging Benefits + RDOs
- This is a full time permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic Diploma Qualified Educator
As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you'll provide quality education and care to children to help support , develop and facilitate learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework!
Your work will include:
- Contribute to the development of educational programs which reflect the approved learning framework.
- Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Documenting children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes
- Implement and follow Uniting's policies and procedures across all aspects of service delivery
- Work in collaboration with members of a team
- Being involved in Intergenerational programs
- Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.
- A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
- You'll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
- Maximum allowable salary packaging up to $15,900 per year + $2,650 meal and entertainment card (pro rata)!

Uniting Summer Hill Children's Centre philosophy is designed to focus on identity and belonging for all children with a program rich in language, literacy, creative expression, exploration, investigation and children's citizenship. Summer Hill has a beautiful learning environment for children and families. Opening hours are 7.30am to 6.00pm. We have an indoor and outdoor long day care program for children between 3-5 years old. You will be working with a supportive team of experienced Educators.
