- Perform manual activities and operation of Materials Processing equipment such as ball mills, spray dryers, loading and programming of calcine and sintering kilns and pressing equipment. (Training will be provided for all aspects)
- Ensuring areas are maintained and effectively cleaned to prevent contamination of product
- Undertake routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is effectively maintained
- Completion of production pack information to ensure traceability of each batch of material processed throughout the various stages of processing.
- Previous experience in a Materials Processing factory-based environment (highly regarded)
- Previous experience operating fixed plant and equipment in an industrial environment
- Qualifications in a Mechanical Trade would be advantageous but not required (On the job training will be provided covering all aspects of the work activities)
- Physically fit and able to perform work in a scheduled environment
- Ability to comprehend technical and mechanical issues
- Good understanding of manual and chemical handling
