About the Role
Responsible for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups.
Responsible for the supervision of students on placement.
Responsible for ensuring a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children.
Responsible for ensuring that records are maintained accurately for each child in their care.
Develop, implement and evaluate daily care routines.
Ensure that the centre or service’s policies and procedures are adhered to.
Liaise with families.
Manage innovation and continuous improvement.
Manage children’s services workplace practice to address regulations and quality assurance.
Observe children and interpret observations.
Oversee the day-to-day implementation of food safety in the workplace.

Task & Responsibilities
Be a part of delivery (All) and guide team/educators (Room Leader/ECT) to deliver effective and valuable documentation of children’s learning in accordance with the centre philosophy and the EYLF.
Ensure staff and children utilise effective health and hygiene practices, including meeting all regulations relating to food safety and preparation, medical management plans, riskmanagement plans, policies and procedures.
Promote health, wellbeing and physical exercise in the service.
Ensure a safe and stimulating physical environment where all staff and children are protected from hazards or harm.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor in ECEC
Looking for candidates available to work on weekdays between 6am - 6.30pm.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role.
