About the role
The EL 2 Property Capital Works (Labour Hire) is an important team leadership position and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role is required to provide leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the team membership and assigned contractors working within the work area.
This position is responsible for construction project management, including planning, design, approvals, procurement, delivery and handover, managing project budgets, review and report on expenditure, undertaking procurement and contract management.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Managing end-to-end construction project management including, planning, design, approvals, procurement, delivery and handover.
- Developing research and analysis, including the preparation of draft reports on project activities.
- Managing the project budgets, reviewing and reporting on expenditure.
- Identifying and managing program governance including the management of project risks, issues and benefits.
- Establishing and managing procurement and contracts for the delivery of the programme and monitor contractor performance.
Key skills:
- Property capital projects experience with complex scope.
- Relevant experience in project leadership and management roles.
- Qualification in Project Management.
- Deep knowledge of Project Management and Construction management systems and principles.
