You’ll be joining an extra large Department, boasting several communications branches and delivering programs, payments and services for the wellbeing of all Australians.
The Role:
As a Campaign Manager you will lead a small team responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating successful communications and campaigns to the Australian public.
This could include communication, public relations and content strategies; government information and behavior change campaigns; media and issues management; and management of social media, website or digital communication channels.
This particular position will focus on vaping related communications.
This is a contract position until 30 June 2024, with the strong possibility of extension.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies.
- Write/edit content for a broad range of topics and communication channels, including web, social media, digital channels, media and public relations activities, marketing and information products.
- Manage effective relationships with stakeholders to negotiate and achieve our goals and successful communication outcomes.
- Maintain awareness of the immediate and longer‐term strategic, political or operational issues for our organisation possible impacts on work areas.
- Mentor, guide and manage day to day tasks of a number of communication staff.
- Coordinate and manage the use of specialist project service providers, including contractors and consultants, and manage large budgets and complex
Your Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this position you must have Government advertising campaign or Strategic Communications experience. You will be joining a busy, expert communications team and will be required to hit the ground running.
Experience working within the Health sector or on health communications is highly desirable.
