Our client is seeking to engage an EL1 Quarantined Funding Model Co-ordinator on a contract until 30/06/2024.
The role:
Working within STS, the role is responsible for co-ordinating the quarantine Funding Model, governance structure and timelines across several teams and stakeholders in order to inform the important work of the Second Pass Business Case (SPBC). Further, the role provides support to the Director responsible for STS withing Department for the wider Border Systems Reform.
Key Deliverables:

  • The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following to a consistently high level, with strong attention to detail and a high sense of urgency.
  • Co-ordinating the Quarantined Funding Model, governance structure and relevant timelines.
  • Collaborate across the department to understand the dependencies of multi-agency digital projects.
  • Be able to prosecute the department's position in an extremely complex and demanding environment.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to construct a clear argument or direction.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy ensuring your team deliver high quality work
  • Excellent prioritisation skills to deliver timely results and manage priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop expertise and subject-matter knowledge quickly
Eligibility and other requirements:
  • Citizenship - To be eligible for employment with the Department you must be an Australian citizen.
  • Security Clearance - This position requires a Baseline security clearance. You will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
