The Role
2 Year Max-Term Contract
Neg. around $150,000/annum + Super + Bonus
In this newly created role, you will work across various sites in Sydney's South-East, providing eLearning and IT guidance and support. You'll work closely with Schools and Executives to improve integration of ICT into the curriculum. This will include the implementation of school-based projects, collaborative practices, curriculum innovation, and testing & piloting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for streamlining and standardizing the implementation and use of IT systems
- Implement school-based learning projects (e.g. scoping and embedding the use of a LMS, creating ICT Programs and Policies to be applied consistently, etc.)
- Identify, design, and deliver ICT professional learning programs for both academic and support staff and develop online tutorial guides and video material for later reference
- Co-ordinate inductions for new staff and facilitate professional learning workshops and induction sessions
- Lead the development of an ICT school roadmap
- Lead the implementation of new ICT projects at a school or system wide level
- Create and maintain a set of innovative resources to model how to integrate ICT effectively
- Support teachers in enhancing the learning experience by creating tasks and incorporating ICT into their curriculum
- Ensure basic IT infrastructure is accessible and appropriate across all sites.
- Develop a framework to support ICT integration utilising conceptual models (such as SAMR)
- Bachelor of Education Degree or higher
- Strong experience teaching at Primary or Secondary school level in Australian or Internationally
- Current accreditation with a relevant authority such as NSW Institute of Teachers or ISTAA
