SalaryAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Elective Surgery Coordinator to join Elective Surgery Services at the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay or Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- The position of the Elective Surgery Coordinator will assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate best practice in the management of access to Elective Surgery in public hospitals.
- Accountable for implementing new Elective Surgery management practices in conjunction with the relevant clinicians utilising corporate and local clinical information systems and administrative staff.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $161,717 p.a., comprising salary between $132,072 - $141,738 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension).
