AEM is currently looking to fill the following position;
- Electric Motor Repairer/Armature Winder
The ideal candidate will possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and characteristics:
- Preferably with 10 years experience on AC & DC motor winding and repair
- Experience with pumps & alternator repairs (preferred, not essential)
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- All-rounder with willingness to learn
- Cert III or higher in Electrical Machine Repair (Armature Winding) or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to follow company procedures & policies and comply with Quality Assurance & WHS requirements at all times
Duties will include, but not only limited to:
- Rewind AC and DC Electric Motors and armatures, including, taking winding data, making coils, rewinding, varnishing and baking and final testing
- Disassemble, assess, and reassemble all sorts of Electric Motors, pumps, generators, and gearboxes
- Test and repair in accordance with AEM Standards and Procedures.
- Safely perform all tests / electrical tests required and sign off on job card.
- Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the job in a thorough and legible manner
- Be available for overtime when required.
- Work in accordance with company’s WHS and Quality system
- Undertake ongoing training as required
- Complete and submit weekly KPI reports.
