AEM is currently looking to fill the following position;
- Electrical Machine Repairer (Electric Motor/Armature Winder)
The ideal candidate will possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and characteristics:
- 5-10 years of work experience on AC & DC motor winding and repair (work experience must be recent in the last five years.)
- Experience with pumps & alternator repairs (preferred, not essential)
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- All-rounder with willingness to learn
- Cert III or higher in Electrical Machine Repair (Armature Winding) or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to follow company procedures & policies and comply with Quality Assurance & WHS requirements at all times
Duties will include, but not only limited to:
- Rewind AC and DC electric motors and armatures, including, taking winding data, making coils, rewinding, varnishing and baking and final testing
- Disassemble, assess, and reassemble all sorts of electric motors, pumps, generators, and gearboxes
- Test and repair in accordance with AEM Standards and Procedures.
- Safely perform all tests / electrical tests required and sign off on job card.
- Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the job in a thorough and legible manner
- Be available for overtime when required.
- Work in accordance with company’s WHS and Quality system
- Undertake ongoing training as required
- Complete and submit weekly KPI reports.
AEM offers a full-time position based in Gepps Cross, SA with ongoing training, growth and development opportunities.
The selected candidate will be required to pass a medical assessment prior to the start of employment as well as drug & alcohol screening.
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 per annum + super
