NEPEAN Power specialises in design and manufacture high quality Control Systems equipment. Our products can be found throughout the Australian and international mining, construction, water/wastewater, and industrial sectors. NEPEAN Power is also Level 3 Service Providers (ASP3) for designing distribution works in NSW.
Our Opportunity
As an Electrical and Control Systems Engineer based in our Mackey QLD Office, you’ll work on projects that shape the way industry operates. By way of Control Systems design, your knowledge and industry expertise will allow our engineering capability to thrive in the competitive mining, construction, and industrial sectors.
Your Role
This will be a rewarding role, where you will cover all aspect of Control Systems development and commissioning, provide technical support to engineering team and project coordination across a wide range of projects, whilst being a key customer interface.
You will design, implement, commission, modify and maintain Control Systems software and documentation ensuring all manufactured equipment is fit for purpose and meet all relevant standards. You will be agile to shift between being a technical designer and a technical contact point for our customers.
You will be a vital member of a collaborative team of more than 30 engineers that range in experience from cadets to lead engineers. You will have a great support network of like-minded professionals that will support your personal development and career growth.
The Right Person
This position is ideal for individuals that are currently in a Control Systems, technician, or electrical engineering role, and are ready to take their career to the next level.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with industrial automation systems and variable speed drives. Ideally Rockwell, Citect and ABB.
- Completed Electrical Engineering Qualification (Degree or Diploma), or an electrical trade qualifications wit extensive experience in Control Systems Engineering.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A ‘can do’ attitude with the desire to develop your engineering skills.
