They are currently looking for a skilled Electrical and Controls Designer to join their growing team.
Your new role
This 12-month fixed-term contract role entails technical delivery of electrical systems related to the design, manufacture, and commissioning of solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and creating high-quality CAD models and drawings using both Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Analysing design challenges and developing efficient solutions.
- Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to address all design and drafting requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify designs for efficient fabrication by understanding manufacturing processes.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in the above duties, candidates should possess:
- A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design within the engineering team of a medium-sized organisation.
- Familiarity with working with customers on remote sites in the Mining and Resources sector.
- A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to design and drafting.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
