With a Global presence and facilities worldwide, this company is an industry leader in processing technologies, recognised for providing their customers with personalised solutions across mining and infrastructure industries, including applications such as breaking, screening and crushing. They are currently looking for a skilled Electrical and Controls Designer to join their growing team.

Your new role 

This 12-month fixed-term contract role entails technical delivery of electrical systems related to the design, manufacture, and commissioning of solutions. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and creating high-quality CAD models and drawings using both Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Analysing design challenges and developing efficient solutions.
• Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to address all design and drafting requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to simplify designs for efficient fabrication by understanding manufacturing processes.

What you'll need to succeed 

To excel in the above duties, candidates should possess:

• A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in using Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design within the engineering team of a medium-sized organisation.
• Familiarity with working with customers on remote sites in the Mining and Resources sector.
• A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to design and drafting.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
