The role:
The Electrical and Instrumentation Officer is responsible for managing and supervising capital and maintenance projects for a Sodium Cyanide Manufacturing Facility. This involves managing contractor daily activities, ensuring the high quality and safe completion of works, conducting risk assessments and ensuring technical compliance.
Selection Criteria:
To be successful, you will be a qualified electrical tradesperson, hold an electrical licence and have substantial experience in electrical/mechanical installations or maintenance. You will also need to have worked in a chemical, mining or minerals processing environment and be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and standards. Experience working with standard software including computerised maintenance management software is desirable. Your excellent project management and communication skills will see you succeed. Contract duration 6-12 months.
