Certificate III in Electrotechnology Apprenticeship

Working closely with the Business owner and their dedicated team, the successful applicant will be undertaking a range of duties including residential installation and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment, caballing and wiring, and diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions.

• You would be employed by Work & Training - the largest employer of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted for the duration of your apprenticeship.

• Theory training is conducted at TasTAFE.
• Your Work & Training Business Consultant provides ongoing mentoring and employment support.

On completion of your apprenticeship, you would receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820)

• The ability to work in a team environment and follow complex instructions
• A positive attitude and self-motivation to learn on-the-job, as an apprentice
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with hand tools

Essential criteria:

• Current drivers licence and clean driving record
• White Card and Working with Vulnerable People (or ability to gain one)
• Knowledge of safe working practices and WHS requirements

Wage: National Training Wage.

A pre-vocational course is highly desired and the successful applicant must undertake a pre-employment medical, including visual, drug and alcohol testing as a requirement of this position.
