Complete your Certificate III in Electrotechnology - Electrician qualification through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with the Host Employer, Capital Electrical.
Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist with various electrical work – wiring, conduit work and terminations
- Read electrical and mechanical diagrams, drawings or specifications to determine job requirements
- Operate electrical power tools
- Perform maintenance on electrical equipment, switchboards & lighting
- Test for, locate and repair electrical faults
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas
- Work with qualified tradesmen to complete business operations
What you’ll bring to the table…
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet the following selection criteria:
- Must be a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice
- Demonstrated passion and interest in the electrical trade
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to both on and off the job training
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
- WHS Construction Card (Whitecard)
