Role Responsibilities
- 3 to 5 years’ experience of Electrical Modelling
- Follow digital engineering principles and project workflows/procedures for: front end design, detailing and submission.
- Detailed 3D modelling of electrical systems including HV, LV, Comms & Security Systems. Single Line Diagrams for switchboards, termination, cable routing etc to enable safe and efficient construction of the works
- Layout and production of drawings for submission and construction
- Co-ordinate consultant and other 3rd party 3D models into the project model using Navisworks and review for clashes, errors, and quality of asset data.
- Clash detection and co-ordination with other disciplines.
- Assist with the development of 4D BIM and Advanced Work Packages to promote the “Build it twice - first virtual, then physical” philosophy
- Engage with selected suppliers to incorporate product specific details into the model.
- A full understanding of the TfNSW Digital Engineering Framework requirements.
- Responsible for the preparation and creation of General Arrangement Layouts and 3D modelling of Electrical (HV/LV), Communication and Security Services using Revit. Creating Single Line Diagrams, Electrical Schematic and Termination Drawings. Performs Clash Coordination, Detection and clash Resolution Using Revizto.
- Responsible for auditing and reviewing asset attribution on all Electrical elements to
- ensure compliance with the project digital delivery framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or relevant industry experience
- Experience working on Transport projects,
- Building services projects
- Knowledgeable in Dynamo Scripting (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of constructability issues
- Experience with 4D Simulation (preferred but not essential)
