About the Position:
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Controls Project Engineer to join our Client Rio Tinto, based on site in Dampier. Dive into a dynamic role supporting Rio Tinto’s Maintenance Planning and Engineering department to deliver projects up to $2m in value. This role is available on a 5:2, 4:3 roster for an initial 6 month duration, with the potential to extend.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering electrical and control systems projects up to roughly $2mil in value.
- Managing the projects from options study through to construction and operational readiness.
- Following the RTIO Finance and Dampier Port Capital Process to obtain project funding.
- Engaging stakeholders and end users throughout the project.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 5+ years of Electrical or Control Systems Projects, Engineering or Technician experience.
- Demonstrate a strong safety culture.
- High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communications skills and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in the use of SAP, and understanding of RTIO Work Management Process is desirable.
