About the Role
  
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent the successful candidate will carry out a wide range of tasks across project activities from planning, coordinating and supervising daily activities of work crews, ensuring compliance with internal, client and legislative SHMS requirements through to ensuring that the quality production and environmental requirements of the project are met.
  
The minimum skills and expectations for this role are but not limited to:

  • Have a proven experience in scheduling and coordinating electrical maintenance activities and inspections; 
  • Ability to comply with the Safety Health Management System, Coal Mining Legislation, Engineering Standards at Maxwell Bord and Pillar Underground Operation;  
  • Contribute to maintenance strategies to minimise electrical costs, maximise equipment availability and meet budget requirements; 
  • Posses a strong work ethic with a great attendance records
  • Comply with site procedures, instructions, and equipment specifications and limitations to ensure effective and safe use of equipment;
  • Demonstrated Underground Coal experience in a similar role; 
  • Relevant Trade Certificate along with EEHA Certificate, High Voltage Switching Certificate and a current LVR/CPR Certificate. 
  • S1, S2, S3 and G2 Qualification must also be current.
