Electrical development engineer- Automotive

Our client is a global leader in the design, engineering, development and marketing of performance vehicles.  We are looking for a Electrical development Engineer to join in the growing product development team. This is a rare oppotunity for someone enjoy working for the auto industry and complex program solving technical development. This role is a 12 months contract role.
The opportunity 

• We currently have an exciting opportunity for an electrical development engineer to join in the team.

Reporting to the Manager, your responsibilities include:

• Design and release electrical components, including issuing Statement Of Requirements and validation test plan.
• Support purchasing and choosen suppliers in the product development process
• Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and recommending actions.
• Work with other Engineers to develop and maintain Validation and Production test equipment.
• Develop new vehicle and component test procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must have: 

• Prior experience at least 5 years in manufacturing or similar industry
• Professional engineer or in the process to be admitted by Engineer Australia
