Communication:
- Clearly and concisely expressing complex technical concepts to colleagues and clients in both written and verbal communication.
- Sketching detailed design drawings, including schematic, termination, and line diagrams for power distribution and control system design projects.
- Selecting IO, instrumentation, and control equipment and preparing the necessary data for all related detailed design drawings.
- Producing documentation that includes the selection and specification of transformers, switchboards, protection devices, cables, and motors.
- Producing documentation demonstrating low voltage calculations and studies, covering maximum demand, cable selection, protection settings, discrimination, fault analysis, let-through energy, arc flash, lightning protection, and earthing design.
- Traveling to sites, working directly with clients, and capturing details of existing power and control system installations.
- Producing detailed scopes of work and cost estimates.
- Preparing and utilizing spreadsheets for control system design.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience working in Australia
- An in-depth understanding of Australian Standards AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 3008.
