Our Canberra Property & Buildings Group is undergoing expansion, and our Building Services team is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Senior Engineer to join our well-established team.

What you'll do
- Provide technical expertise in electrical design and documentation for a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects spanning Property & Buildings, Defence, Healthcare, Education, and Infrastructure.
- Engage in the planning and design of building and infrastructure projects, producing reports, design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Utilize industry-standard software such as Revit MEP, PowerCAD, and AGI/Dialux for LV system modeling.
- Ensure the delivery of best practices and optimal outcomes for clients, emphasizing cost and time savings.
- Take the lead on small to medium-sized engineering design projects while supporting larger initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teams
- Contribute to the development of the business unit against strategic goals
About you
- Recognised degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered status, or working towards one, an advantage
- Software proficiency in Revit MEP, PowerCAD, and AGI/Dialux, an advantage
- Proven consulting/design project experience in the Building Services sector utilising Australian building codes and standards;
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong client and stakeholder relationships
- A track record of effectively handling competing priorities, prioritising work and meeting tight deadlines
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry, an advantage
