Job Description:
As a Senior Consultant of the Electricity and Gas Distribution and Outage Management systems, this role requires: -
• Provision of Technical expertise to facilitate and execute support, maintenance, development, and continual improvement of Customer Services DMS/OMS systems for the electricity and gas distribution networks.
• Working knowledge of installing and configuring GE ‘s PowerOn Advantage ADMS components
• A high focus on responding to and resolving incidents, problems and requests to ensure availability, capacity, reliability, maintainability and serviceability of the solution at all times, in line with agreed performance targets and service levels.
• Active development of the Product roadmaps and maintain their alignment with the Application and Infrastructure vendors’ capabilities.
• Taking technical leadership and responsibility for development of projects, mentoring and providing technical guidance to less experienced colleagues.
Job Requirements :
• Relevant electrical and power systems knowledge or qualifications with applied experience in the field of expertise (management qualifications desirable)
• Development skills are required (PLSQL, PERL , JAVA Script, SOAP integration).
• Leadership, problem solving and mentoring skills and experience to lead peer and junior team members through a high period of change.
• Communication and collaboration skills across business, supplier and partners spread across a broad geography.
• A high level of IT knowledge (operating system, server, networking) is required.
