The range of services includes Protection Relay Testing, transformer testing, switchgear testing and commission, Thermographic Surveys, ground resistance testing and Partial discharge. Qualifications & experience
- To be considered for this role, you should possess strong technical knowledge and experience working with Low and High voltage Electrical Assets, demonstrating your ability to understand complex electrical systems.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and electronic Engineering)
- Member of Engineers Australia.
- Omicron training is an added advantage.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Strong understanding of electrical protection systems for High voltage assets e.g. generator and line differential protection systems.
- Fault finding and solving complex problems for High voltage assets as required.
- Be willing to travel and work remotely as required.
- Secondary Injection test on protection relays using Omicron 356 or equivalent.
- Primary Injection of Low and High voltage assets as part of commissioning or maintenance testing.
- IEC61850 programming and design, GOOSE protocol commissioning, SCADA design and commissioning. Candidate should be able to use GOOSE client/server, IED scout as part of design, commissioning and maintenance testing.
