Permanent position available within a training department to pass on your Electrical trade knowledge. Your new company Our client is a leader in delivering nationally accredited qualifications, offering full-time apprentice training, VET in school programs, short courses and training. Local to Townsville, this company promotes face-to-face delivery and hands-on assessments across Queensland. Your new role Your new role will see you working as an Electrical Facilitator in a permanent position within the company, providing the above services to new apprentices and school-leavers, kick starting their career into the Electrical Trade. You will assist the head of VET in constructing the identification, monitoring and compliance in relation to the delivery of education/training. As well as marking assessments, undertaking industry visits, ensuring OHS are maintained and adhered to and participating in the education team meetings. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you must have:
Electrical Trade Qualification
CPR / LVR
Current C-Class Driver's Licence
Extensive experience within the Electrical trade
Experience working with apprentices and trades assistants
Queensland Blue Card (working with children) or be willing to obtain it.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - this is not essential as our client are able to put you through this course whilst working in the role.

What you'll get in return In return, if not already obtained you will be given the training and guidance required to complete a certificate IV in Training and Assessment whilst working in the field. The cost of this course will also be covered. This position is a permanent role with a salary range between $83,000 - $90,000 depending on experience with 13% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave.
