Electrical Inspector

Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Electrical Inspector to join our growing company. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical inspections on both residential properties and commercial building complexes throughout metropolitan and regional TAS and adhering to all aspects of AS3000, AS3008 and TAS Electrical requirements. 

Nature of position:               Permanent, Full Time

Location:                               Multiple Positions available North/South Tasmania

Reporting Line:                    Operations Manager

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• A Grade Electrical Licence
• CEC Accreditation (preferred but not essential)
• Manual driver’s licence
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current First Aid and CPR qualification

Skills & experience:

• Minimum 5 years post trade experience
• Ability to resolve day-to-day operational issues and solve technical problems with a high degree of autonomy and independent judgement
• The ability to follow process and procedures correctly
• A strong awareness of OH&S work practices

• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems in residential, multi residential and apartments buildings
• Comprehensive skills in the use of technology such as iPads and software/reporting systems
• Exceptional customer service skills
