Get home each night – 9 Day Fortnight About the role:We have an opportunity based in Merredin for an experienced Electrical Dual Tradesperson for a permanent position.The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of electrical and instrumentation services including installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and commissioning of all Water Corporation’s assets throughout the Region. We are seeking an individual who takes ownership of their work area and is able to work effectively independently but also contributes to a positive team environment and safety culture. What the role will involve: Performs scheduled and unscheduled (breakdown) maintenance in water/wastewater systems and installs electrical and instrumentation components Performs complex isolation and shutdownsComplex problem solving of water systems, wastewater systems and chemical dosing systems Key skills and experience: Electrical Trade CertificateInstrumentation CertificateRelevant High Risk LicencesCurrent Drivers LicenceDemonstrated experience in PLC, SCADA and telemetry systems.Considerable trade experience in water supply and wastewater services.Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements including hazard identification Real benefits that matter: Work your full-time hours over 9 days and enjoy an RDO every fortnight!Work for a company that advocates for mental health and wellbeing with two well-being days each year to do whatever you need to do to feel good, no questions asked, we understand the importance of switching off and recharging every now and then.Annual leave loading of 17.5%.After 3 years of continuous service, you may access your Long Service leave pro-rata.In addition to the base requirement, Water Corporation will make an additional 2% super contribution when you elect to salary sacrifice 2% of your salary to super.Purchase additional leave of up to 4 weeks.
