Electrical Storeman - FIFO Construction Project

Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.

This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.

The Role:

Elecnor has a highly rewarding opportunity for a Storemanto join our Substation team in Buronga (near Mildura, VIC).

As a Storeman you will play a critical role in assisting our Electricians, Fitters and other trades, to deliver the largest substation in the Southern Hemisphere!

This role would suit somebody with an electrical background or knowledge of electrical tools and materials, and who thrives in a fast paced environment. 

This is a full time permanent fixed term contract on a FIFO or DIDO basis to Mildura, working 10 hour days on a 21/7 roster. Or alternatively would suit somebody living locally.

Requirements for the role:   

• Current White card
• High Risk Work License - LF (Forklift)
• Telehandler license an advantage 
• 3+ years experience in similar role - FIFO/Large Construction/Electrical background
• Full Australian working rights 
• Undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
• Organised and meticulous attitude
