The role
The role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the annual capital plan, managing contractors and sub-contractors in a front line in field leadership role.
Reporting to the Superintendent accountabilities will include:
- Supporting Sustaining Capital Projects Leadership to champion a culture of high performance onsite;
- Support contractor supervisors to align trades, assign tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment to reflect RT values;
- Oversight of project contractors, ensuring that the projects complete works to meet schedule and quality requirements, directing the progress of work and driving compliance; and
- Contractor management systems ensuring site operations complies with statutory, corporate and community requirements.
About you
- 5+ years in project construction supervision (Electrical);
- Supervisor competencies - G1 Apply Risk Management Processes Training, G8 - Conduct Investigations Training and G9 - Communication and Consultation Training;
- Contractor and / or self-perform electrical direct supervision experience; and
- Prefer wide experience base covering the electrical project construction but may also supervise other common. disciplines where necessary, e.g. civil, pipe work, structural, etc.
