About the role
We are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor with Rail Experience to work on our rail contract in the Pilbara, WA. The role will be to lead and coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to development of work methods and plan daily/weekly production work.
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder management through positive, proactive and professional communication to keep key personnel informed.
- Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Superintendent or Project Manager
- Ensure compliance of commercial and financial costs including budgets
- Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety and environmental management.
- Read and understand plans, review design documentation, read drawings, and provide constructive review and implementation of final designs
- Identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to build a risk management culture.
- Select, train and develop leading hands and ensure the observance of safety, other work standards and fair and reasonable application of industrial agreements.
To be successful:
The successful candidate will hold relevant trade qualifications, an RIW Card, have 7+ years experience and be the Electrical Nominee on site and perform those duties when necessary. You must have sound railway knowledge. You will enjoy building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and be experienced in ensuring compliance of commercial and financial costs.
The role will be based in the Pilbara with FIFO arrangements made by John Holland working a 2 and 1 roster. Remote working allowances apply to this role.
