About the RoleOur Industrial and Energy West Business are seeking qualified and experienced
Electrical Supervisor support our Tindal project based in Katherine, NT on a 19/9 roster with 2 weekends at home. Reporting to the Superintendent, you will ensure consistency of work, deliver on project outcomes (time, cost, quality, safety), identify opportunities for improvements and align with both the client and Downer's way of working.
- Conduct and document daily site pre-start meetings
- Supervision of internal site work crews and sub-contractors
- Proven ability to manage direct hire blue collar employees for self-perform works.
- Experience with programs such as Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook), Aconex, Lucidity
- Adhering to the scheduled program of work
- Following and understanding the contract scope of work and design drawings
- Lead and guiding field work crews to perform scope as per Schedule.
- Ensure all workers and subcontractors conform to safe work practices and stop anyone not conforming or working unsafely.
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and adhered to on site, ie any permits, certified designs, Zero Harm paperwork.
- Stocktaking and keeping track of all materials being used and procuring as required.
- Daily Reporting and recording of hours for various tasks.
- Recording of daily site activities. i.e. work completed, work not completed and reasons, incidents, interactions with clients, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with site rules for all workers and subcontractors
- Notify the Superintendent of any actual or potential scope changes or delays
- Ensure project quality requirements are understood and complied with
- All vehicles check lists are done and submitted
- All plant and equipment on site are in date, compliant with current standards, and not defective
- Ensure all lifting equipment, and safety equipment is tested and tagged safe to use.
About You- Proven experience as a supervisor in a similar role working
- Experience in Facilities Maintenance
- C Class Driver's Licence
- NT Electrical Licence
- Valid CPR/LVR
