The Project:
We are currently seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join the APLNG project team, reporting to the Superintendent you will actively contribute to the success of the business through the delivery of project milestones, on time and within budget. This role is fulltime and based onsite on BIBO arrangement from Brisbane working 18 days on 10 days off roster.
You will be accountable for:
- Supervision of works on gas gathering wellsites low voltage and instrument installations including compliance with Hazardous Area installation standards.
- Supervision of works on gas gathering High voltage and Fibre optic cable installation, including jointing and testing and managing performance of direct and subcontractor workforce.
- Cable management in conjunction with civil installation teams.
- Assessing activities and ensuring a balance between cost and production to meet objectives.
- Assisting in the development of project instructions, procedures and SWMS.
- Ensuring the successful application of all site safety, environmental and electrical requirements under CPB and APLNG policies including completions of pre-starts, toolboxes, audits, etc, to the required standards.
- Ensuring all required quality documentation is completed on the Clients electronic construction and completions systems (CCMS) including, FICs, ITRs, As-builts reports, punch lists, and completions certificates.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Electrical trade qualifications
- HVIA and Hazardous Area cert IV are preferred
- Extensive previous experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas or Civil Construction industries
- A commitment to OH&S and proven ability to demonstrate active safety, quality & environmental leadership
