The Position:
Haz-Elec Industries requires a Townsville based Electrical Supervisor.
You will be required to lead and supervise staff undertaking installation work and routine maintenance tasks, managing procurement, WHSE and quality requirements for your allocated jobs. You will maintain site administration and recordkeeping while meeting timelines and ensuring quality assurance and audit responsibilities are met.
This is a working Supervisor role with your time split between organising jobs, supervising field staff, working on the tools (when required) and supporting the Service Manager with quoting and customer management.

Key responsibilities and skills include (but are not limited to):
- Support the Service Manager in coordination of a diverse team of trades people in accordance with Haz-Elec policies, procedures, and values.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and proficiency in heavy industry operations.
- Exhibit expertise in hazardous area operations, always adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to heavy industry and hazardous area operations.
- Delivering allocated jobs within budgets and targets.
- Lead teams of staff to execute allocated Jobs in an efficient and safe manner.
- Provide leadership for WHSE and quality requirements at a site level.
- Maintain site records and day to day administration task.
- Ensure paperwork, ITRs & ITPs are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring work undertaken is compliant with applicable standards and customer scope.
- Assist with quoting and securing new opportunities.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in heavy industry operations, with a thorough understanding of associated processes and equipment.
Extensive knowledge of hazardous area operations, including safety protocols and risk management strategies.
Certification or training in relevant areas such as industrial safety, hazardous materials handling, or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- QLD Electrical Work Licence
- EEHA Certified
- QLD Drivers Licence
- LVR/CPR Certificate
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft suite
- EWP > 11m (preferred)
- Current ACMA Registration – open cables licence with required endorsements (preferred)
