Our client is a leader in their industry and is in the midst of expansion in various VIC locations! 

They've got a new green site going up in Geelong, new equipment in procurement, and many exciting new projects in the pipeline. They've got a fantastic team and management who are genuinely supportive and eager to see their team members thrive both personally and professionally. They really value team development, and it shows - their recent mechanical engineer has moved up the ranks to become their Maintenance Manager. They are now expanding their team with a brand-new role for Electrical Team Leader, to work the morning, afternoon, or night shift.

• Competitive Salary: A competitive salary is on offer of $90,000 - $156,000 + Super, depending upon the shift (morning, afternoon, or night shift).

THE ROLE

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of electrical equipment. Working closely with other department leaders, you will lead a team of electricians and contractors, contributing to the overall optimisation of productivity. 

Note: This role offers flexibility in terms of working shifts - morning, afternoon, or night.

As the Team Leader, you’ll:

• Lead and motivate your team towards project success, ensuring they follow directions safely.
• Deliver the ‘Preventative Maintenance Program’ for electrical works and monitor electrical equipment performance.
• Manage electrical personnel including your team and electrical contractors.
• Work closely with teams from different areas to make sure projects run smoothly.
• Minimise downtime for electrical faults/issues in production equipment and meet KPIs for the improvement of plant productivity.
• Prioritise, plan, and implement electrical requirements within budget targets.

• Trade qualifications with relevant electrical licences.
