Due to the continues growth an opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to join their already established team based in Lonsdale.
Job Debrief:
The electrical Technician is responsible for carrying out various maintenance tasks, assisting with installing and inspecting machines and electrical equipment and to conduct preventive maintenance to ensure all machines are operational. Electrical Installation and testing.
What you need:
- Electrical installation, testing, repairing, maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation.
- Dismantling machinery and removing/replacing defective parts.
- Inspecting and measuring various instruments to Determine relevant changes.
- Maintaining inventories of equipment parts and supplies.
- Training production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
- Providing mechanical maintenance information by responding to questions and requests.
- Preparing maintenance reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by complying with rules and regulations.
- Developing improvements to the control of machinery.
- Designing and manufacturing machine controls.
- Ensuring the electrical services comply with wiring rules and regulations.
- Assist in the training and development of electrical apprentices.
- Assist in the training and induction of new personnel into the engineering team.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Unrestricted electrical licence
- Organisational skills
- Communication and numeracy skills
- Rescue and resuscitation
- Completed apprenticeship in relevant trade
